The webinar will be hosted by faculty members Dr. Robert “Bob” Liden and Dr. Somnath Das. As a Research 1 institution, our faculty researchers produce new knowledge for the global economy. As a doctoral candidate, you will have the opportunity to study with these renowned experts in the fields of accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, human resources, information and decision sciences, management, marketing and strategy – just minutes from the financial district of the city.
At UIC Business we offer a PhD in Management Information Systems along with a PhD in Business Administration where you can choose an emphasis in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information and Decisions Sciences or Marketing. As a doctoral candidate, you will receive a tuition waiver and stipend for four years in exchange for work as a graduate research or teaching assistant. Graduates of PhD programs have gone on to positions at Michigan State University, University of Notre Dame, University of Tennessee, and University of Texas at Dallas.
