Kate received her PhD in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is passionate about learning and development, and is dedicated to delivering impact to organizations via creation of robust knowledge transfer strategies to optimize performance, effectiveness, and competitive advantage.
Kate’s professional experience is in non-profit and academic operations and administration.
Her background in project management, strategic planning, and organization development consulting yields a strong foundation for experiential application in the classroom. She brings her research expertise into the classroom by examining the dynamics of organizational functioning via the comprehensive and systemic lens. Kate is an active member of the Academy of Management (AOM), and is an Executive Board Member of AOM’s Organization Development and Change division. She is also an Executive Board Member of Knowledge Management Chicago, and a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), Association for Talent Development (ATD), and Organizational Development Network of Chicago (ODNC).
