Introduction
Three MSBA student teams, advised by Clinical Assistant Professor Fatemeh Sarayloo, presented their capstone projects in IDS 560, Analytics Strategy and Practice, at the 2025 UIC Computational Research Symposium on April 21. Part of UIC's Research Week, the event showcased innovative uses of AI, data science, and high-performance computing across campus to drive discovery. Congratulations to the team whose project, Decoding YouTube Virality: A Data-Driven Approach to Trending Video Analysis, earned a third-place tie among a competitive field of submissions.
