Aaron Díaz Bianco Joins Department of Finance as Teaching Assistant Professor
About Aaron Diaz Bianco
Aaron Díaz Bianco will join the Department of Finance this fall as a Teaching Assistant Professor. He has served with UIC Business since 2025 as a Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor and as an adjunct lecturer since 2024. Díaz Bianco teaches across the department’s undergraduate and graduate curriculum, including FIN 520 (Corporate Finance) in the MBA and MSF programs, FIN 300 (Introduction to Finance), and FIN 250 (Personal Finance). He brings a practitioner’s orientation to valuation, capital structure, and transaction analysis in the classroom.
Before joining UIC, Díaz Bianco founded and served as Chief Investment Officer of Aronos Capital, LLC. Earlier in his career, he conducted equity research at Ariel Investments and practiced corporate law at Jones Day. He holds an AB from Princeton University, a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA charterholder. Díaz Bianco was the first member of his family to attend college, a perspective he brings directly to his work with UIC’s first-generation students. He lives in Lincoln Park and has served on the board of the National Museum of Mexican Art in Pilsen.
