Meet Brayan Garcia-Lopez, a proud first-generation college student majoring in accounting at UIC Business. This past summer, Brayan took on the exciting role of an external audit intern with PwC, where he eagerly gained hands-on experience. He used his internship experience to explore his future career interests in accounting–industry preference, type of audit work, and whether public accounting is a long-term fit for him. Brayan’s ultimate goal is to build a strong foundation as he prepares for the CPA exam and to discover the career path that best aligns with his passion for the profession.
