Matt Liotine, clinical professor of Information and Decision Sciences, led a cohort of 12 graduate students in the M.S. Supply Chain & Operations Management degree program to participate in the 2025 Red Arts Capital Supply Chain Executives Conference held in Chicago on September 8-9.

This year’s conference brought the UIC Business students together with executives from major organizations such as UPS, Main Line Health, and Northwestern Energy. Discussions spanned key themes including sustainability in operations, healthcare logistics, technology strategy, career development, and leadership within the supply chain sector.

For UIC Business students, the event was more than just a learning opportunity—it was a chance to build meaningful connections with top industry leaders, gain firsthand insights into the evolving supply chain landscape, and strengthen their professional readiness for future careers.
