CME Group Foundation Awards Scholarships to Three UIC Business Students
CME Scholarships for UIC Business Students
Three UIC Business students are among 15 Illinois college students selected to receive the 2026 CME Group Foundation Scholarship.
Eman Hussain, an Accounting and Finance double major; Shynecka Manderson, an Information and Decision Sciences major; and Makayla Young, an Accounting and Finance double major, were selected for scholarships through the CME Group Foundation’s program supporting low-income, first-generation college students majoring in finance, technology and related fields.
The CME Group Foundation announced a total of $360,000 in scholarships for this year’s recipients. The students will also have the opportunity to participate in a Day of Recognition and Market Education hosted by CME Group executives, where they can learn more about internship and career opportunities at CME Group and across the financial services industry.
For UIC students, the scholarship provides more than financial support. It also connects them with professionals and potential career pathways in Chicago’s financial and technology sectors.
Since the scholarship program launched in 2019, the CME Group Foundation has awarded more than $4.9 million to 138 students at 13 partner colleges and universities across the United States.
