Students engaged with FedEx leaders to explore how diverse perspectives, transferable skills, and adaptability can open doors across evolving career paths.

On February 2, the First Tuesday Breakfast Series kicked off with an engaging session led by the FedEx team, focused on the importance of diversity of thought and skillset in today’s workforce. Students gained insight into how their unique experiences, perspectives, and transferable skills can create opportunities across a wide range of career paths, even beyond clearly defined job titles.

FedEx representatives connected directly with attendees, answering thoughtful questions and sharing practical strategies for navigating an evolving, skills-driven job market. The event created meaningful dialogue around adaptability, career exploration, and long-term professional growth.

This session was proudly co-sponsored by the Department of Information & Decision Sciences and the Department of Marketing, whose collaboration helped make this impactful experience possible. We look forward to continuing the conversation at the next First Tuesday Breakfast Series session on March 3, 2026.
