Five UIC Business Students Earn Prestigious 2025 CME Group Foundation Scholarship
UIC Business proudly celebrates the achievements of five students who have been named 2025 CME Group Foundation Scholars, a prestigious honor awarded to only 18 students across 12 partner universities. The program awards scholarships worth up to $20,000 to first-generation college students pursuing degrees related to finance and technology. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years — including one year toward a Master of Science degree.

In addition, five more UIC Business students renewed their CME Group Foundation scholarships for another year, continuing their record of excellence and leadership.

The CME Group Foundation recognized both new and returning scholars at its Day of Recognition and Market Education on August 14 at CME Group headquarters. During the event, students toured the trading floors, engaged with CME Group executives, explored internship opportunities, and connected with other scholars from the Foundation’s partner institutions.
Since 2020, UIC Business students have earned an impressive 37 CME Group Foundation Scholarships, representing a combined scholarship potential of $2.22 million.
