Fuel Up for Finals Supports UIC Business Students During Exam Week
Three-day initiative offers refreshments, resources, and a sense of community to help students recharge and succeed during finals.
Fuel Up for Finals
UIC Business hosted its annual Fuel Up for Finals initiative from April 27–29 in the Douglass Hall lobby, providing students with resources and refreshments to support them during final exams. The three-day event created a welcoming space for students to pause, recharge, and stay focused during one of the most demanding times of the semester.
Throughout the initiative, students received final exam care packages that included snacks such as chips, along with de-stress materials provided by the UIC Wellness Center. Coffee was also available each day, helping students stay energized as they prepared for exams.
On April 28, the Graduate Student Advisory Board partnered with UIC Business to support the event, strengthening engagement with graduate students and expanding the initiative’s reach across the college community.
The space also featured marquee numbers spelling out “26” with a graduation cap, creating a celebratory backdrop for students approaching commencement. Graduating seniors received Class of 2026 keychains, adding a personalized, memorable touch to this milestone.
Fuel Up for Finals continues to be an important expression of UIC Business’s commitment to student well-being, reinforcing a culture of care and community during critical points in the academic year.
