Future Business Tech Leaders Day
On June 27, UIC Business welcomed 47 high school students for the Future Business Tech Leaders Day, offering an introduction to the IDS major and campus life. The day included sessions led by IDS Department Head Professor Ali Tafti; Clinical Associate Professor Unsal Ozdogru; and Associate Director of Corporate Engagement, IDS Department Whusheane Perry, with a keynote by alumnus Josh Franklin, head of Carbon Free Energy at Amazon Web Services.
Students also enjoyed a panel discussion featuring recent alumni and current UIC Business students:
