Intern Spotlight: Matt Landon, B.S. Accounting, 2026
Meet Matt Landon, an accounting major and the incoming president of Accounting Club. Matt completed a tax internship at Grant Thornton, where his goals were to learn more about the role of a tax accountant at a public accounting firm and gain firsthand experience with the tax busy season. He planned to use his internship to determine if public accounting was the right place to begin his professional journey, while also exploring whether the firm’s values aligned with his long-term goal of becoming a partner.
