UIC Business alum Jesse Ghoman has launched his career in the banking industry as a Private Banking Underwriter at CIBC.

After earning his B.S. in Finance from UIC Business in May 2025, Jesse Ghoman joined CIBC as a Private Banking Underwriter, applying the analytical skills he developed in the classroom to real client and business needs. He was drawn to banking for its emphasis on financial analysis and reporting, as well as the opportunity to build a strong foundation and grow within the field over time. In his role, efficiency is key, but so is showing genuine interest in the industry and the organization. Jesse’s journey highlights how curiosity, strong fundamentals, and a growth mindset can translate into early career momentum in finance.
