Özgür Arslan-Ayaydin Honored with UIC Innovative Online Course Design Award

One of three recipients recognized for advancing excellence in online course design at UIC

Özgür Arslan-Ayaydin, Clinical Professor of Finance, has been awarded the UIC Innovative Online Course Design (IOCD) Award from the Instructional Design and Media Production Studio (IDMPS) for her development of FIN 540, International Financial Markets. The award celebrates faculty who deliver innovative, rigorous asynchronous online learning experiences and demonstrate exceptional dedication to student success.

Özgür is one of three IOCD recipients across the university receiving this honor. In addition, awardees will receive a $1,000 one-time payment, and their courses will be featured in IDMPS promotional materials, showcased as models of effective online course design, and recognized at an IDMPS-sponsored event later this year.
