Recognized Among the Best: Mary Vernon Named Outstanding Reviewer
Mary Vernon, assistant professor of accounting, is honored as an Outstanding Reviewer by Contemporary Accounting Research
Mary Vernon, assistant professor of accounting, was selected as an Outstanding Reviewer by Contemporary Accounting Journal (CAR), one of the top journals in the field, for the journal year 2024-2025. The purpose of the CAR reviewer program is to annually recognize outstanding reviewers, nominated by the journal’s editors, who regularly provide exceptionally high-quality and timely reviews. Mary was selected as one of 13 CAR reviewers to be recognized between June 1, 2024, to June 1, 2025. To provide some perspective, 879 individuals completed reviews for CAR during this time period, making Mary’s recognition for this honor that much more impressive.
