Harshad Puranik (Associate Professor, Managerial Studies) had a paper titled, “Daily Temporal Profiles at Work: State-Level Dynamics in Past, Present and Future Focus,” accepted for publication in the Journal of Applied Psychology (FT-50 Journal with 5-year impact factor = 11.1). This research paper explores different factors that shape how and why employees’ devote their attentional focus to the past, present, and the future during their everyday work activities and the impact it has on their job performance, level of collaboration, and other important workplace behaviors. In addition to collaborators from Ohio State University and Temple University, one of the coauthors of this paper is Ran Ahn (Ph.D. student from Managerial Studies).
