I recently returned from the AACSB Deans Conference in Toronto—an influential gathering of over 700 business school deans and academic leaders from around the world.

This annual event serves as a critical forum for discussing the evolving landscape of business education and exploring strategies to lead our institutions forward. The conference emphasized innovation, resilience, and bold leadership.

Throughout the conference, we engaged in thought-provoking sessions on topics shaping the future of our field. Topics included:

• Building Revenue Streams Beyond Tuition
• Rethinking Global Mobility
• The End of the MBA As We Know It
• From Hype to Action: Navigating AI in Business Schools
• Resurgent Leadership: How to Fuel Innovation and Growth in Business Schools

These discussions offered fresh insights into how business schools can adapt to shifting student expectations, global trends, and economic pressures.

I came back with fresh perspectives and tangible ideas that I’m excited to explore as we work together to strengthen our programs and prepare students for a changing world.
