Spring Alumni Reception Brings the UIC Business Community Together
The UIC Business Spring Alumni Reception on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at HOSTE was a great reminder of just how fun—and connected—this community can be. As the second alumni reception of the academic year, the event kept the momentum going and offered the perfect opportunity to wrap up the year on a high note.
The turnout was fantastic, with alumni, faculty, and graduating students all coming together in one space having a great time. From the start, the room had a lively, upbeat feel—plenty of conversation, lots of laughter, and more than a few “it’s been too long!” moments. It was a great mix of looking back, catching up, and looking ahead—all in one evening.
Handcrafted cocktails gave the evening a fun, elevated touch, while the food from Los Comales brought bold flavors and a relaxed, celebratory vibe. It was the kind of atmosphere that made it easy to grab a drink, strike up a conversation, and stay awhile.
The photobooth was another crowd favorite, capturing attention all night long. Whether reconnecting with old classmates or meeting new faces, guests stepped in to snap photos, share laughs, and capture the moment. It added an extra layer of energy and gave everyone something tangible to remember the night by.
