Miguel Lemus, BS Marketing ’18, was honored with the Rising Star Leadership Award by the UIC Alumni Association on April 10. Before the ceremony, he met with Dean Wayne to reflect on his career journey and the lasting impact of his time at UIC. As a first-generation graduate, Miguel credits his parents’ hard work for his success and embodies the grit, determination, and sense of community that define UIC Business. He continues to succeed while uplifting others — and we’re proud to call him an alum.
