UIC Business Celebrates Investiture of Mihas and Mikhail Endowed Professorships
Introduction
On February 10th, UIC Business celebrated the investiture of the Mihas Endowed Professorship in Finance, awarded to Ferhat Akbas, Constantine Mihas Endowed Professor of Finance, and the Michael B. Mikhail Endowed Professorship, awarded to Melissa Martin, Associate Professor and Interim Department Head of Accounting.
The prestigious occasion recognized these two exceptional individuals who have been appointed to these endowed chairs, each exemplifying excellence in their respective fields. We were delighted to honor these distinguished faculty members and to celebrate the continued growth and leadership of our institution in finance and accounting education.
