UIC Business Community Celebrates Culture and Connection at Mid-Autumn Festival

A large group of UIC Business students, faculty, and staff smile for a group photo inside Douglass Hall during the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, standing in front of a sign that reads “Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering.”

On Monday, October 6, more than 100 participants—including CMBA, Contract MS, CMBA+MS joint degree students, and other CBA students —joined faculty and staff at Douglass Hall to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of Asia’s most cherished cultural traditions.

Hosted by the Office of Corporate MBA Programs, the event provided attendees with the opportunity to experience the spirit of reunion through hands-on activities, including lantern making, clay mooncake and rabbit crafts, and the lively Pomelo Peeling Challenge, filling the hall with laughter and a sense of community.

The celebration brought together members of UIC Business from diverse programs and backgrounds, reflecting the College’s strong commitment to global engagement and cross-cultural connection.
Special thanks to all the student volunteers who helped make the afternoon a success.
