UIC Business Finance Career Fair Brings Students and Employers Together

More than 150 UIC Business students participated in a special career development session featuring representatives from United Airlines. The event provided students with an opportunity to learn about the wide range of career paths available within the organization, particularly for those pursuing studies in Finance and Information & Decision Sciences (IDS).

During the session, United Airlines professionals shared their career journeys, offered valuable industry perspectives, and provided insight into the skills and experiences that contribute to success in today’s competitive job market. The session also gave students a firsthand look at the recruiting process and what employers value most in candidates.

The discussion included diverse opportunities available within the aviation industry and demonstrated how business, analytical, and technology-focused skill sets can be applied across a global organization.

UIC Business extends our sincere appreciation to the United Airlines team for their time, expertise, and commitment to student success. Opportunities like these help bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice, while empowering students to explore career pathways and make informed decisions about their futures.
