UIC Business Grad Students Win Top Honors at AWS Jam National Event

UIC Business graduate students, Pawni Khanna, and Sai Neelakandan

Congratulations to UIC Business graduate students, Pawni Khanna, and Sai Neelakandan, for claiming 2nd and 3rd place in the AWS Jam National Event.  AWS Jams is an immersive event that encourages participants to up level their cloud skills through hands-on, real-world scenarios. Jams allow participants to identify their cloud strengths and areas needing improvement and allow them to work together in teams to solve a series of challenges.

The event included universities competing from five states (New York, West Virginia, Illinois, Texas, and Washington). This great accomplishment is a testimony to Pawni and Sai's hard work, preparation, and technical skills!

Their accomplishments also recognize and highlight talent at UIC, reflecting the university's strong academic programs and showcasing that UIC students not only compete with top universities, but also win.

A special thanks to Ali Tafti, Professor and Department Head, Department of Information and Decision Sciences, and Bielinski Family Faculty Scholar, for providing sponsorship and commitment.
