UIC Business is proud to recognize Iscleiry Pujols as the April Student Leader of the Month.

A rising senior majoring in Accounting, Pujols serves as the incoming President of the Accounting Club and Director of Internal Affairs for the United Women’s Network. Across both roles, she is committed to strengthening connections among students and creating opportunities for academic and professional growth.

Pujols was selected for this recognition based on her impact on her peers and the broader UIC community. As noted by her nominator, she has organized networking opportunities that help commuter students feel more connected to campus life while also mentoring fellow first-generation students as they navigate internships and the job search process.

Her peers describe her as a thoughtful and driven leader, known for her maturity, kindness, and determination to make a difference.

This winter, Pujols will continue building her professional experience as an intern with PwC, gaining hands-on experience in the accounting field.

Looking ahead, she aspires to become a business executive and use her success to create opportunities and give back to communities in the Dominican Republic.

Outside of her academic and leadership commitments, Pujols once zip-lined over a 33-foot lagoon.
