Wells Fargo Engages UIC Finance Students Through Campus Visit
The UIC Department of Finance recently welcomed five representatives from Wells Fargo to campus for a full day of student engagement and collaboration.
During their April 28th visit, Wells Fargo professionals connected directly with students through one-on-one conversations, offering personalized insights into career paths, internships, and the skills needed to succeed in the financial services industry. These interactions provided students with valuable guidance as they explore early-career opportunities and prepare for the transition into the workforce.
Wells Fargo representatives also met with several student organizations, including the Finance Investment Group, Investment Banking Association, Portfolio Management Team, and Women in Finance. During an employer session, a Wells Fargo recruiter shared industry perspectives and practical advice on navigating the early stages of a career in finance.
In addition, the finance faculty hosted the Wells Fargo team for a meet-and-greet lunch, where discussions focused on curriculum alignment, emerging workforce trends, and opportunities for continued collaboration. These conversations offered important insights and further strengthened the partnership between the Department of Finance and Wells Fargo.
UIC Business is grateful for Wells Fargo’s continued engagement and commitment to supporting student growth, career exploration, and long-term success.
