Other Transfer Admissions Information

Transfer Credit Evaluation

Wondering which credits count? Use Transferology to see how your completed coursework maps to UIC equivalencies before you apply, so you can plan your remaining semesters with full visibility into where you stand.

Readmit Application

Previously attended UIC and ready to come back? A readmit application is for someone who has previously attended UIC and wants to return to complete their bachelor’s degree. It’s a different process from the standard UIC transfer application. Contact our admissions team to begin your readmission application.

International Requirements

Applicants with international coursework will be required to submit an English-language syllabus for each course. International applicants with three or more years of undergraduate coursework should expect to complete a minimum of three semesters in order to graduate with a UIC Business bachelor’s degree.

Second Bachelor’s Degree

UIC Business is unable to consider applicants for a second bachelor’s degree. We encourage students to consider a master’s degree program in lieu of pursuing a second bachelor’s degree.

If you want a more certain route from community college to UIC Business, you have options. UIC Business participates in several guaranteed transfer admissions programs designed to give you early certainty on your acceptance and a smoother handoff from your current school.

TAG is a partnership between specific community colleges and the University of Illinois Chicago that offers a guaranteed transfer route to several UIC programs. It gives students and families certainty when you want to transfer to UIC Business rather than enter as a first-year student.

Eligibility: You must be enrolled in a participating community college, complete and submit the TAG Pathways Participation Form, and complete TAG program requirements before applying to UIC.

Once enrolled, you’ll stay in contact with your UIC transfer counselor and maintain a 3.0 GPA or better while satisfying additional requirements.
