Abel Galvan

Abel Galvan, a lecturer in accounting at UIC Business, was among eleven faculty members chosen by UIC’s 2017 senior class to receive the Silver Circle Award. Since 1966, the Silver Circle Award has been presented to some of UIC’s best teachers. Each year, undergraduate faculty members are nominated and selected for the award by a committee of graduating seniors, making the award UIC’s highest recognition by students for outstanding teaching at the university. Winners, who are honored at their college commencements, receive $500, and their names join a long list of distinguished colleagues. Read the full UIC News story here.
