Business Dean and Innovation Leader Named UIC Provost Heading link
UIC Today reports that Dr. Javier Reyes, vice president of Start-up West Virginia and the Milan Puskar Dean of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University, has been named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at University of Illinois Chicago. His appointment becomes effective Aug. 16, pending approval by the University of Illinois Board of Trustees.
The provost serves as the UIC’s chief academic officer to advise on matters of academic policy, strategic direction, enrollment management and academic resource planning.
