Four UIC Business students were recently awarded a total of $8200 in scholarships sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs. Scholarship recipients were Elizabeth Milaicki (VCSA Scholarship), Robert Constantino (University of Illinois Alumni Association Pier Scholar Award), Abhinaya Konduru (Gordon J. Flesch Memorial Scholarship) and Fernando Mendoza (UIC Jim’s Original Scholarship).
Criteria for the awards include financial need, academic achievement, leadership and community involvement, among other factors. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs awards scholarships both to recognize great achievement and to ensure the success of UIC students.
