Alumna Gabriela Uquillas, BS Accounting ’08, has been selected as the new chief financial officer of the Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS), becoming just the third CFO in the 147-year history of society. Her appointment comes after a search led by Tuft & Associates Inc., an executive search firm specializing in nonprofit placements. She will begin her role late this month.
“Gabriela impressed everyone with her expertise, leadership, and thoughtful communication style,” Executive Vice President & CEO Jon R. Roth, MS, CAE, said in a statement. “Her finance and accounting experience in healthcare will be an excellent fit with DCMS. We are delighted she has joined the DCMS family.”
