Liautaud MBA Takes Startup Challenge Heading link
The Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies hosted the 2017 Startup Challenge last Monday, April 10 at UIC. The top prize of $3,000 went to the Fourneau Bread Oven, the joint creation of Ted and Sharon Burdett. Ted is a Liautaud MBA candidate and an instructor at UIC’s School of Design; Sharon lectures in design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ted and Sharon are the co-founders of Strand Design.
Second place in this year’s competition went to Tongue Ventures, and third place went to Simply Nabz Design for the Abstruse hanging organizer. For a full list of finalists and more coverage of the event, visit ChicagoInno.
