All certificates are stackable toward a full degree, allowing you to seamlessly build toward a master’s. Each certificate requires 3-4 courses (12 credit hours) for completion. Admission Requirements Heading link
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university for admission to the certificate program. Applicants must submit the following information and documentation:
- An official copy of the baccalaureate transcript indicating the earned degree(s).
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) is required. (Exceptions to this requires permission from the certificate coordinator and Assistant Dean for CBA Admissions).
- A personal statement explaining the student’s interest and goals for the certificate program
- A current resume
- GMAT/GRE is optional.
- Valid English proficiency test scores must be submitted if required, based on the country or territory in which an applicant previously studied. Refer to UIC’s Admissions requirements.
