Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university for admission to the certificate program. Applicants must submit the following information and documentation:

  • An official copy of the baccalaureate transcript indicating the earned degree(s).
  • A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) is required. (Exceptions to this requires permission from the certificate coordinator and Assistant Dean for CBA Admissions).
  • A personal statement explaining the student’s interest and goals for the certificate program
  • A current resume
  • GMAT/GRE is optional.
  • Valid English proficiency test scores must be submitted if required, based on the country or territory in which an applicant previously studied. Refer to UIC’s Admissions requirements.
