Felipe Calvano is an Assistant Professor in the Managerial Studies Department at the University of Illinois Chicago. He received his Ph.D. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Virginia Tech, Pamplin College of Business. Felipe’s primary research interests include corporate governance, corporate entrepreneurship, and misconduct. Particularly, Felipe is interested in learning about why actors at the apex of organizations fail so often and how they can become more effective. His work has featured in the Strategic Management Journal. Additionally, he is an active member of the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society.
