The Department of Managerial Studies offers expertise in the areas of management and entrepreneurship.
Faculty members teach and conduct research across a broad spectrum of topics related to entrepreneurship, human resource management, innovation, leadership, organizational behavior, product development, transportation and logistics, and strategic management. Students gain a strong foundation in all areas of business and enjoy numerous opportunities on and off campus to engage with the Chicago business community.

Sandy J. Wayne Named Dean of the College of Business Administration Heading link
Following a national search, Sandy J. Wayne has been named dean of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Business Administration, effective August 16, pending approval by the University of Illinois Board of Trustees.
Professor Wayne first joined UIC as an assistant professor of management in 1987. In 2014, Professor Wayne assumed the role of associate dean for faculty affairs in the College of Business Administration, a role in which she dutifully served until last year, when she was appointed interim dean.
