Getting to Campus

Douglass Hall (DH)

705 S. Morgan St.
Douglass Hall is the dedicated home of UIC Business. The recently renovated building provides state-of-the-art learning studios, breakout study rooms, student collaboration spaces, a café, a full-service Business Career Center and our CME Training Lab. The building was awarded LEED Gold Certification for its sustainable energy usage and recycled building materials.

Student Center East (SCE)

750 S. Halsted St.
The UIC Conference Center and meeting rooms Illinois A, B and C are located in the Student Center East (SCE). Once you arrive, please follow directional signage to event location or proceed to campus through the building. An information desk is located on the first floor near the Halsted Street entrance.

University Hall (UH)

601 S. Morgan St.
Once on campus, it is the tallest building you can see and currently under construction so please mind your step. University Hall has two elevator banks. The north elevator bank reaches floors 1 – 15. The south elevator bank reaches floors 15 – 27. Take the north elevator bank to the 11th floor and check in at the front desk when you arrive.

Rice Building

815 W. Van Buren St.
Rice Building (RB), the new home of the undergraduate and graduate recruitment team, is located at 815 West Van Buren Street, on the corner of Halsted and Van Buren (next to Giordano’s.  It is a 5 story office building, conveniently located just off the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) at Halsted and Van Buren and just north of the Halsted/UIC Blue Line “L” stop. Please enter the building through the main entrance next to Giordano’s and take the elevator to the left of the entrance to the 4th floor. The UIC Business Recruitment office is located in suite 410.

  • Public Transportation to Douglass Hall and Student Center East

    Metra Train. From Union Station or the Ogilvie Transportation, board the No. 60 Blue Island CTA bus at either Clinton and Adams or Clinton and Jackson streets. Exit at Harrison and Halsted. Walk one block south to Student Center East.

    The CTA Blue Line serves UIC. Exit at Halsted Street and walk one block south to Student Center East.

    Proceed to Douglass Hall through Student Center East and follow directional signage to your destination.

    The No. 8 Halsted bus stops directly in front of Student Center East.

  • Public Transportation to University Hall

    Metra Train. From Union Station or Ogilvie Transportation Station, board the No. 60 Blue Island CTA bus at either Clinton and Adams or Clinton and Jackson streets. Exit the bus at 900 W Harrison, walk one block south onto campus.

    University Hall is 1.5 blocks directly south of the Morgan St. exit to the Halsted/UIC Blue Line CTA stop.

    The nearest eastbound campus bus stop (No. 7 or No. 60) is at Morgan and Harrison. The nearest westbound campus bus stop is the Morgan and Harrison stop.

Halsted Street Parking Structure

Located at 801 S. Halsted St., directly across the street from Student Center East. Exit at Taylor St for attendant access.

Lot 1B

Located at 1139 W. Harrison St., on the Southeast corner of Harrison and Racine, directly across the street from the UIC Pavilion. This lot is recommended for campus events taking place at the Pavilion.

Harrison Street Parking Structure

Located at 1100 W. Harrison St., on the Northeast corner of Harrison and Racine, directly east of the UIC Pavilion. This lot is recommended for events taking place at the Pavilion. Exit at Harrison St. for attendee access.

Parking costs between $5.00 and $12.25, depending on event. Validation is available on specific event dates, please contact bizadmit@uic.edu to verify.
