The Department of Managerial Studies offers expertise in the areas of management and entrepreneurship.

Faculty members teach and conduct research across a broad spectrum of topics related to entrepreneurship, human resource management, innovation, leadership, organizational behavior, product development, transportation and logistics, and strategic management. Sandy Wayne Named Interim Dean of the College of Business Administration Heading link

Sandy Wayne, Professor of Management and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, will serve as interim dean of the College of Business Administration as Michael Mikhail returns to the faculty after completing two five-year terms as dean on August 15.

Professor Wayne has been a member of the business faculty since 1987. She is also the faculty director of the UIC Business Scholars program, as well as the co-director of the Institute for Leadership Excellence and Development (iLEAD).
